NoFo Market & Café

NoFo Market & Café was a unique destination for both local residents and beachgoers in Wilmington, North Carolina, formerly located at The Forum Shopping Center on Military Cutoff Road. The café, market, and restaurant featured an eclectic atmosphere inspired by the coastal surroundings. One half of the café was thoughtfully designed to evoke the pastel-colored homes that line the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby Wrightsville Beach. In the ceiling, whimsical galvanized-metal clouds floated, creating a sense of openness and offering strategic spots for lighting.

As guests moved through the café, they entered the underwater-themed world of the NOFO Restaurant. Here, fabric panels undulated from the ceiling in wave-like patterns, echoing the ocean's motion and complementing the large, galvanized metal fish that appeared to swim overhead. The bar area invited visitors to relax with a cool cocktail, surrounded by an ambiance bathed in varying shades of blue, teal, and green, enhancing the overall immersive experience.
